Run sheet statuses

Statuses track the progress of run sheet entries. Lists belong to the organisation; an event uses one list, chosen when it is created.

You need permission to manage run sheet statuses.

Add a status

  1. Open Settings → Run sheet → Statuses.
  2. Choose a list, or select New list, enter its name and press Enter.
  3. Select Add under To do, In progress or Done.
  4. Enter the Status name, then select Create.

For example, “Being installed” can belong to In progress, and “Completed” to Done. The step gives the status its progress meaning; its name and colour help people recognise it.

Select Edit on its row to choose a colour or enable Default status for new entries, then Save. To change its step, drag the status to another group on a computer.

Prepare automatic updates

In the selected list, include at least one In progress status and one Done status.

  1. Under Automatic update, choose the Status at start from the In progress statuses.
  2. Choose the Status at end from the Done statuses.
  3. Select Save in the changes bar.

These choices supply the statuses used when an entry runs in automatic mode: at its scheduled start for an entry with a duration, then at the end of that duration. A zero duration goes straight to the end status.

This prepares the list; it does not put every entry in automatic mode by itself. Also check the operating mode in the relevant run sheet.

Check the reach of a change

The same status can serve several events. Renaming it affects those using its list. Selecting another list on this screen only changes the list you are editing.

A list must be empty before you can delete it, and at least one list must remain. If you delete a status selected for automation, set up the start and end statuses again.

To prepare reusable run sheet timings, create a timeline.
