Create or join an organisation

If your colleagues already use EventOps, join their organisation to find their work. Create an organisation when you want a separate workspace for your own events.

Start by signing in — new tab. If you do not have an account yet, follow the access guide.

Join an existing organisation

You have an email invitation: follow its link and accept the invitation. You do not need to create another organisation.

EventOps recognises an organisation from your email address: Your colleagues are already on EventOps. offers you the option to request access.

  1. Check the suggested organisation name.
  2. Select Ask to join, followed by the organisation name.
  3. Add a Message to the administrators if useful, then select Send the request.

Your request is pending. confirms that it was sent, not that you have been admitted. You will receive an email after acceptance. If the organisation is unrelated to your work, choose Create a separate organisation.

If no organisation is suggested but your colleagues already have one, ask them for an invitation.

Create your organisation

The creation process opens after you confirm a new account when no organisation is suggested, or after you choose to create a separate organisation.

  1. Indicate your activity and the kinds of events you run. Use Continue, or Skip when available.
  2. Under Your organisation, choose a recognisable name, such as “Horizon Events”, and check the time zone.
  3. Indicate your team size, then whether you are preparing several events during the year or one specific event.
  4. Under Your plan or Your licence, read the options shown and choose how you will use EventOps.
  5. If Who works with you? appears, enter your collaborators and their roles, or select Invite later to begin on your own.
  6. When creation is confirmed, select Go to my workspace.

The free solo trial lets you explore EventOps on your own: invitations are disabled and that step is omitted. You do not need to prepare a team before your first event.

Check your active organisation

If you belong to several organisations, check which one you are working in before creating an event. On a computer, use Switch organisation at the top of the menu. On a phone, open Account, then Organisations and select the one you want.

Move on to your first event

You arrive in your organisation. If it is new, it is normal to have no events or templates yet.

Create your first event from scratch. You can prepare your teams and customise settings as your needs become clearer.
