General

The name, logo and default values provide a shared starting point for your organisation’s events. You need permission to manage general settings to change them.

Update the identity

  1. From your organisation’s menu, open Settings → Organisation → General.
  2. Under Identity, enter the Organisation name.
  3. If you have a logo, select Import a logo. You can replace or remove an existing logo.
  4. Select Save in the changes bar.

The name and logo appear at the top of the menu. Cancel discards unsaved changes.

Choose the time zone and language

Under Time and language, choose the Time zone used by your venues and the Default language, then select Save.

Enable Events across several time zones if, for example, you run trade shows in Paris and Montréal. You can then choose a time zone for each event. Otherwise, the organisation supplies the shared time zone.

The organisation’s language does not prevent you from choosing your own language in the app.

Changing the organisation’s time zone preserves the time zone saved on existing events. If an older event has no time zone of its own, its displayed times follow the organisation’s zone: check its times after the change. This setting does not move the dates and instants already recorded.

Set closure defaults for new events

Under Automatic closure for new events, choose:

  • Manual closure to keep each event open until someone with permission closes it;
  • Close automatically after to set a delay in days after its end.

Select Save. This change does not affect events already created. Also check the closure setting in your template when you use one.

You can now customise the information on your events.
