Modules and access
Adapt an event to your organization: use a run sheet and checklists for a concert, or start with information and the directory for a small gathering.
You need permission to manage the relevant settings. A template supplies starting values; check this event’s configuration within the event itself.
Choose modules
- Open Settings → Modules & visibility.
- Find the module you need and enable it.
- Check Visible to: leaving the team selection empty opens the module to all authorized teams; selecting teams restricts it to those teams.
- Read any dependency information: some tools require another module.
- Select Save, then check the event menu.
Each module has its own settings section: run sheet, checklists, log, documents, chat, broadcast, directory, information or attendance. Enable the tools you need, then prepare their content.
Understand a missing menu item
Enabling a module does not grant every participant permission to use it. Visibility also depends on permissions, their scope and the person’s access period.
If a colleague cannot see a tool, check the correct event, module activation and the teams selected under Visible to, their role under Participants, then the role’s permissions under Event roles. Someone may be allowed to read without being allowed to create or edit.
See Teams, participants and leads to adjust access. For a persistent difficulty, see Troubleshooting.
